Mrs. Jackson studied Elementary Education at Trinity International University and earned certificates for K-9th grade in English/Language Arts, math, social studies, Spanish and business with a minor in Human Resources/Marketing. In 2004, she completed a Masters Degree and certification in Educational Administration as a K-12 school principal in Illinois and Wisconsin.

Mrs. Jackson brings 9 years of professional teaching at the elementary, middle school and university level and 4 years of homeschooling, to Faith Christian School. Mrs. Jackson has taught elementary social studies, elementary and middle school math, Algebra 1 and Honors Geometry, and middle school and elementary English/Language Arts. At the university level, she taught English Writing, Spoken English and Human Resources English while serving in a leadership role as the Team Leader for the Foreign Teachers at the International Exchange College of Inner Mongolia Normal University in Hohhot, China. She is passionate about Christian education, discipleship, youth ministry and missionary work.  

Mrs. Jackson has been married to her husband, Dave, for 16 years. They met at Trinity as college students and together have two children, Zoe and Isaiah. 

In 2011 Mrs. Jackson was called to be the founder of Grace Christian Academy, a non-denominational Christian school in Pulaski, WI. Serving as its President of the Board of Directors for the last 6 years, she also was its principal in its inaugural year. As a family, they all had an integral part of founding Grace Christian Academy in Pulaski. Zoe and Isaiah attended there for its first two years. Mrs. Jackson’s husband, Dave, joined Jaime as part of the teaching staff. In June 2016 they relocated to Waupaca to fulfill the desire of local Waupaca residents to expand Christian education. Now they are walking together as FCS’s founding family. Zoe and Isaiah attend Faith Christian School. Together as a family, they are excited to have another opportunity to plant a Christian school bringing a model of Christian education through a classical Christian educational model with a focus on Christi-centered education and tailored learning.

PASTOR: ERIC TOBER

LEAD PASTOR, FAITH COMMUNITY CHURCH

Pastor Eric Tober comes to Faith with over twenty years of experience serving churches in SC, VA, CT, IL. and PA. Eric is experienced in various ministry positions from youth pastor to associate pastor to church-planting pastor to lead pastor. Eric has traveled to Europe, India, and China in missions work and pastor training as well as doctoral studies in Israel and Jordan. Eric has served on National Board of the Evangelical Free Church of America in Minneapolis, Minnesota and on the board of Christian Investors Financial. 

Pastor Eric earned B.A. and M.A. Degrees in Religion and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Eric’s doctoral project is “The Role of Preaching As A Valued Component In A New Testament Model of Discipleship.” (2008) Eric studied Advanced Expository Preaching under Haddon Robinson and D.A. Carson. As part of Eric’s role on the EFCA Board, Eric serves on the Tenure Committee of Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois.

Eric met his wife and childhood sweetheart, Chris, at a dance recital for his sister, Robin when he was in seventh grade. They have three adult children: Jessica (married to Aaron), Heather, and Derek and two grandkids, LJ & Sophia. Chris and Eric do marriage retreats for local churches as well as for pastors and their wives. He has a special heart to reach out to the local community and to nurturie his staff so that they can in turn nurture others through their roles at Faith Community Church.
